The opening surah — explicitly confirmed as valid ruqyah.
Abu Sa'id al-Khudri narrated that when a tribal chief was bitten by a snake, one of the Prophet's ﷺ companions recited Surat al-Fatiha over him and he was cured. When the companions later asked the Prophet ﷺ whether this was permissible, he smiled and said: 'How do you know it is a ruqyah?' — confirming that al-Fatiha, recited with sincere belief and understanding, is itself valid ruqyah (Bukhari 5736).
This app's Qur'an reader carries the full text and translation of al-Fatiha; this guide only points to it as a source of ruqyah rather than reproducing it here.

Ruqyah is a spiritual practice, not a medical treatment. It does not replace seeing a qualified doctor, nor the five daily prayers. For serious or persistent affliction, consult both a scholar and a medical professional.
