Fasting Ramadan means abstaining from food, drink, and marital relations from before dawn until sunset for one lunar month each year, alongside extra prayer and Qur'an reading. Hajj is the pilgrimage to Makkah, obligatory once in a lifetime only for those who are physically and financially able to make the journey. If it is not within your means right now, there is no burden on you — Allah only asks what a person is able to give.
